 Green Blaze, the National Youth Leadership Training Course of the Baltimore Area Council, is a two weekend outdoor experience for youth leaders in support of the Scoutmaster’s responsibility for the training of troop youth leaders. Built on the legacy of past JLT successes, the new course integrates the best of modern leadership theory with the traditional strengths of the Scouting experience. Through activities, presentations, challenges, discussions, and audio-visual support, NYLT participants will be engaged in a unified approach to leadership that will give them the skills and confidence to lead well. This change aligns the youth training with the adult training that is taught in the Wood Badge of the 21st Century. |

The deadline for registration is
March 1, 2008.
Additional information will be mailed directly to each Scout and
Scoutmaster in March. The cost of the course is $190. A deposit of
at least $50.00 per Scout should accompany the reservation form.
There is a limit to the number of Scouts who can take the course; we
fill it on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, please
fill out the registration form, and enclose a check with the
appropriate deposit made out to Baltimore Area Council, and mail it
